New Antibodies for Viral Research

Antibodies to viral targets are essential for vaccine and drug development. As knowledge increases, new targets are discovered. We continuously update our catalog with new, high-quality antibodies that researchers need to understand the pathogenesis of viral infections and the effects of viruses on host cells.

We recently launched new antibodies for two viruses that are important for research - Murine cytomegalovirus and Varicella zoster virus:

1. Murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) is a natural pathogen of mice, used to model human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) diseases.

   We’ve released 17 new mouse monoclonal antibodies to MCMV targets.

2. Varicella-zoster virus (VZV), is one of nine herpes viruses that infect humans, causing chickenpox In children and young adults, and shingles in adults. VZV infections are specific to humans, but the virus can survive in the environment for several hours.

   We’ve added 40 new VZV antibodies to our catalog.
